StudiOS reads the ADM without downloading it, checks it against the Apple and Dolby rules and leaves the delivery sheet next to the master. Your client hears the binaural render from the Magic Link, without knowing what an ADM is.
The master lives in your cloud, in the song’s folder, like any other version. StudiOS reads it by ranges and checks it in your browser: the gigabytes never travel to any server.
Apple’s immersive audio profile and Dolby’s delivery playbook, summarised. It is what StudiOS checks, and what is worth checking even if you never use StudiOS.
Integrated loudness is defined on a 5.1 render of the master. Today StudiOS reads the figure the file itself declares and says so on the sheet; its own measurement arrives with the panner. True peak, by contrast, is measured track by track and is exact.
No browser plays 118 channels. The Magic Link shows the master’s card and offers what can actually be heard.
The honest status: reading, checking, the sheet and binaural listening are in production, tested on real Netflix and Dolby masters of up to 6.8 GB. What is missing is measuring integrated loudness on our own 5.1 render; until then the sheet uses the figure the file declares, and says so.
It is a work in progress: it will arrive as a StudiOS module, included in the plan, with nothing separate to buy. We will tell you when it opens.
